  1. We praise you, Lord, for Jesus Christ,
    who died and rose again;
    he lives, he broke the pow’r of sin
    and over death now reigns.

  2. We praise you, Lord, that this dear child
    is grafted to the vine,
    and as a member of your house,
    now bears the cross as sign.

  3. We praise you, Lord, for Jesus Christ:
    he loves this child we bring;
    he frees, forgives, and heals us all;
    he lives and reigns as King.
